Last updated: 28 May 2026

1. Who we are

LegalSkills SG is operated by Leonardo Ribeiro ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting the personal data of our users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore and all subsidiary regulations made thereunder. Our support contact is leonardo@rsabr.adv.br.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the personal data necessary to provide our service:

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined under the PDPA (e.g., racial or religious data, health information).

3. Purposes and consent

We collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

By completing your purchase, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the above purposes. Marketing communications (other than transactional emails directly related to your account) will only be sent where you have not opted out. You may withdraw consent for non-transactional communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by writing to leonardo@rsabr.adv.br. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal, and will not prevent us from continuing to use your data for transactional or legal-compliance purposes.

4. Disclosure of personal data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may disclose it to:

5. Cross-border transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside Singapore (including the United States and the European Union) where our service providers maintain infrastructure. In accordance with the Transfer Limitation Obligation under the PDPA, we transfer personal data overseas only to recipients that provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA — through contractual arrangements, the recipient country's adequacy recognition, or equivalent safeguards. By using LegalSkills SG you acknowledge and consent to such transfers on the basis described above.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter sufficient to fulfil the purposes set out in section 3, or as required by applicable law. Payment records are retained for at least five (5) years to comply with financial and tax obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, submit a written request to leonardo@rsabr.adv.br. We will respond within 30 days, or such other period as permitted under the PDPA. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests that are manifestly excessive, as permitted by law.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls on our databases. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and tracking

We use essential session cookies to maintain your authenticated session and a Meta Pixel for conversion measurement on our landing page. You may disable cookies via your browser settings; however, doing so may prevent you from accessing authenticated content. We do not use cookies for sale of data or third-party profiling beyond what is described here.

10. Regulatory authority

The supervisory authority for data protection in Singapore is the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), reachable at www.pdpc.gov.sg. If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the PDPC.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of LegalSkills SG after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
